What information do I need to provide when making a booking?
In addition to our usual enquiries prior to booking, we will ask you the following questions over the phone or by email:
Have you had the recent onset of a continuous cough within the last 14 days?
Do you have a high temperature?
Have you noticed a loss of or change in your normal sense of taste or smell in the last 14 days?
You will be asked the above questions again when checking in at the Harrods Hair & Beauty Salon. If you are showing any of the above symptoms, however mild, or you feel unwell, you should stay at home and reschedule your appointment. What services are available at the Hair and Beauty Salon?
The Yaalaay Hair & Beauty Salon offers an array of luxury services, from hairstyling to make-up application and body treatments, as well as premium retail products from the world’s top beauty brands – making it the ultimate destination for beauty on the go.

Do I need to book an appointment or can I walk-in?
We are currently not accepting walk-ins. We operate by appointment only so that we can maintain limited customer numbers within our service areas. For last minute availability please contact our reservations team on +44 (0)20 7893 8333. The salon is open Monday to Saturday 10am - 9pm, and Sunday 11:30am - 6pm.
Do I need to wear a face covering?
Customers visiting the Hair and Beauty Salon for appointments are required to wear a face covering. They are permitted to remove their face covering for their treatment as their practitioner will be wearing a visor during this time and maintaining a social distance of two metres before and after the treatment.
What are the Hair & Beauty Salon opening hours?
Along with the rest of the Knightsbridge store, our current operating hours are:
Monday to Saturday 08: AM – 06:00 PM , and Sunday: Exclusively By Appointments 09:00 Am- 03:00 Pm
Where is the Hair & Beauty Salon located?
The Yaalaay Hair & Beauty Salon is located at 3315 Demotropolis road mobile Alabama 36693. So that we can provide a relaxing environment for those using the salon, we ask that visitors switch off their mobile phones.
Where can I put my personal belongings?
You are welcome to leave coats and umbrellas in our cloakroom. Please note: Yaalaay cannot take responsibility for any items left behind following a treatment.
Are children allowed in the Hair & Beauty Salon?
Children under the age of 14 are welcome in the Yaalaay Hair & Beauty Salon for a child’s haircut provided that a booking is made by a parent/guardian. They must be accompanied by this adult at all times.
Please note: children are not permitted to accompany their parent/guardian in the treatment rooms. Additional age limits apply to specific services – please ask a member of the front-of-house team for more information. We reserve the right to withhold a particular service if we do not believe an individual meets our age requirements. Please note: certain areas of the Harrods Hair & Beauty Salon are not accessible to those under the age of 18. For more information, please speak to the front-of-house team.
What is the cancellation policy?
No refund. Only one chance to reschedule 72 hours before your appointment.
What payment methods do you accept & do you require full payment at time of booking?
You can pay for bookings using Visa, Mastercard or American Express.
Please note: for online bookings, full payment is taken at the time of booking. For bookings made over the telephone or in person, all treatments and services with a value of more than £65 are subject to a deposit payment at the time of reservation. (This includes bookings for consultations.)
What time should I arrive at the Hair & Beauty Salon?
Please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time. This will give you plenty of time to check in, use the restroom, fill out our compulsory client questionnaire and enjoy light refreshments at reception.
If you arrive late, the duration of your appointment will be shortened accordingly. This is so that your appointment does not delay following clients. We will do everything we can to accommodate late arrivals, and we will try to offer at least part of your booked service (depending on the treatment). In some circumstances, however, your appointment may have to be rescheduled.
